Experience the remarkable talents of City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ teachers at a Jan. 24 concert and art exhibit.
The Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Friends of Music will host its annual Music Faculty Concert at 7 p.m. on Jan. 24 in the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ auditorium, with music teachers from throughout the district performing solo and together. You also can check out a gallery of work by district art teachers in the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ High lobby before or after the concert.
The event is free and open to all. Students (and families) will get a chance to see their teachers in the spotlight, for a change of pace.
Although the event is free, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Friends of Music will hold raffles and sell merchandise and refreshments. All money raised will be returned to programs that support district students.
Also at the event, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Friends of Music will unveil its new logo and recognize the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ High artist who created it as part of an October logo-design contest.
