Update on school tax mailing error
The City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ welcomed students from prekindergarten through ninth grade Tuesday to the start of the 2017-18 school year.
And on Wednesdsay it will be all-in as students in grades 10-12 at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ officially begin the school year.
On Tuesday, State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia and Board of Regents member Josephine Finn joined Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams as the day began at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ International Center, the school district’s new program for refugee and immigrant students.
In the meatime, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ High held its annual Freshman First Day to help new students learn their way around the building.
Elsewhere in the district, friends old and new were acquainted and reacquainted.
