Indoor percussion show a blast!

Spectators were thrilled by the sights and sounds of marching arts on Saturday at the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Indoor Percussion Ensemble’s home show at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ.

The event featured six competing ensembles – five visiting schools that competed and three exhibition performances (including the University at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ’s Spirit Band and the UÓ£ÌÒÊÓƵ Winter Guard). The day also featured a spotlight of the 15 Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ High seniors in the Indoor Percussion Ensemble. 

Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater. 

Congratulations and terrific work by seniors Anna Baldes, Robert Berry, Simon Carey, Sonja DePiro, Renee Geraghty, Nora Gordon, Alanna Kaye, Meski Kelle, Jacob Levine, Issah Marisco VonLutz, Nathan Martel, Isabella Scaringe, Owen Sears, Angeline Thompson and Bessa Wells-Rice.
