The City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Board of Education welcomed its first new member in six years Thursday night as Austin Wolfgang was sworn in to begin a new four-year term.
Wolfgang, an Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ graduate, won election in May and fills the vacancy created by Vickie Smith’s retirement after nearly 10 years of board service.
The board also elected its officers for 2025-26, maintaining the same leaders as the previous year: President Sridar Chittur, Ph.D., who also was re-elected in May to a new four-year term, Vice President Tabetha Wilson (also an Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ High grad) and Secretary Ellen Krejci.
