Celebrating our art teachers

Art teachers pose with pieces of art at a coffee shop.

The art teachers who guide, inspire, organize and make it possible for our student artists to shine now have a - much deserved - spotlight on them!

The New York State Art Teachers' Association (NYSATA) Region 6 Members' Exhibition is being held from April 1-27 at Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga (402 Broadway) and four City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ educators have pieces in the show:

  • Catherine Kuubetesuri (Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ International Academy):
  • Caitlin Sweet (North Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Middle School): , and Mini Flower Series (, )
  • Kara Tolmie (North Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Middle School):
  • Kate Wright (CSDA Fine Arts Supervisor):

This exhibition was put together and curated by City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ teacher and NYSATA Region 6 Secretary, Caitlin Sweet.

The NYSATA Exhibition is composed of 70+ works created by art educators from Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, Schoharie, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington Counties.

Congratulations to our talented educators and thank you for doing all you do to promote creativity both inside and outside of the classroom.
