Welcome new and returning Montessori families! We hope you're enjoying the summer, and that this update will answer many of the questions you have as you plan for the upcoming school year!
A mailing you will receive in mid-August will include assignments for new students in prekindergarten through grade 5. It will also include the first "Newsflash" of the year, name tags for our PK families (for students to wear on the first day) and summer playdate information for our new families. The play dates are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 19 (3:30-5 p.m.) and Thursday, Aug. 27 (5-6:30 p.m.)
Does Montessori have a PTA? No, but we do have the Montessori Community Council. Please and click “Follow.” Everyone is a member simply by being a Montessori Magnet School family.
New families are invited for an orientation on Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 6-7 p.m. Our staff is busy resetting our school for the new year, so tours will not take place during August.
Finally, click back to our school's home page for links to our 2026-27 school supply lists. Families without a teacher assignment yet should consider purchasing supplies common to the grade level, and finish up shopping after teacher placement is complete.
