The City School District of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Board of Education confirmed the following administrative change for Philip Schuyler Achievement Academy on Thursday night, part of district-wide staffing reductions caused by devastating anticipated reductions in state aid that could total as much as $23.2 million for the 2020-21 school year.
The assistant principal position held by Emma Steckman was eliminated at Schuyler in the reductions. Steckman will transfer to North Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Middle School to serve as its new assistant principal, effective Sept. 29.
