Spooky STEM rules!
On Wednesday, students and families at Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology immersed themselves in Halloween-themed, hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math at Spooky STEM Night.
Costumed kids viewed the heavens through a portable planetarium, saw a snake and axolotl up close and personal, took part in Lego challenges, operated Bee-Bot robots, made creepy Oobleck goo and much more! Students from the ӣƵ Robotics Team also were on hand to show TOASTers how their competition robot works.
The event followed a trunk-or-treat event in the school parking lot that was sponsored by the PTA.
